A note to all:

I am still figuring out how to work the feedback option on the website.  Some have provided feedback that there are still glitches with it please be patient.  I periodically go in and remove all the email/identifying information in the posts to help protect you from spammers.

Thanks for the kind words.

Chris

Chris: How awesome! I'll share parts of your site with my students-probably the 6th graders. I saw Dawn today at church and she told me about the site. She is great-but I guess you know that! Prayers and blessings, Chari

I'm just now getting to look at your website (at work of course). Couldn't get into it earlier because I forgot what your middle initial is...a senior moment I guess. I'm impressed by your site...very professional looking! You are constantly in my thoughts and prayers. Your ever-loving mother-in-law.

Chris, I work with your mother-in-law and she is the one who introduced me to this excellent site. I hope all of the U.S. soldiers and personnel will be able to come home soon. Stay safe and don't die for your country, make the other sorry s.o.b.s die for theirs'.

Chris - I had the same experience when getting off an airliner in Kuwait, felt like the engines were still running. That was back in the 1960s. Amazing to know you had the same experience. Still the same place. Please know that all of us here appreciate the sacrifices you're all making, and we keep you in our prayers, as well as Dawn, Megan and Sarah.

Chris, I received your email message on 20070429 and was glad to hear that you are still well and hanging in there. I had heard from my parents, who (I believe) visited with your folks in March, that you were home on leave, but I thought they were mistaken. I had to go back and look at the last time we exchanged email to realize just how much time had elapsed. I will provide you with a more indepth message when I get the chance, but I wanted to publicly state through your web page (Thanks, this is a great idea!) my support for you and your Soldiers for your daily efforts and sacrifices while deployed forward. I also wanted to send a very heartfelt "Thank You" to your wife, Dawn, and your girls for their continued love and support for you while you are away. The Frasers are keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers. Stay safe & Semper Fi! Tom

Ashkurak Kathiir for your efforts. Deb and I know your folks from Ulster Project and I hope to meet you sometime to practice my Iragi Arabic. lughat iragiiya arabiiya. Perhaps I should have kept that college work up to date. A pleasure to know a Major. A WWII Major (bomber pilot) told me that while flying in formation and receiving a command from another Major he would respond; "Rodger Dodger you old codger, I'm a Major too". That may or may not be funny to you. Prayers and Peace to you, your family and our Iraqi friends. Great Website!!

Chris, Aunt Rita was in DC this weekend and she told me about your website. Your website is really insightful and inspiring. I know Sean will be anxious to read it. I hope you are well, I pray for your safety, and I keep Dawn in my prayers in what I know must be a trying time for her. Keep up the good work. If you have a second, I'd love to hear from you, your cousin, Susan

Hi Chris, You've done a great job on this web site. It is very informative and helps to get a feeling for all that you are going through during this very stressful time.We are very proud of you as a son, a father, a husband and a soldier. We anxiously await your home coming in August. Much love and many prayers for your safety, Mom

Saw Dawn and the kids a couple of weeks ago. The girls are great, both pretty and cute! They talk all the time, and bug each other a lot, when they're not hugging each other, more like little prople than kids it seems to me. Incredibly active also. Dawn is hanging in there. She amazes me by always being stronger than she looks, but she wants you back safe and sound and soon. Just ordered some UmpireState coffee. We love you and miss you. Be safe, answer our prayers. Bill, the father in law

Hello from Colorado, where the temp is around 50 degrees due to a chilly rainstorm. Let it rain, let it rain! I just got your addy/webpage from the website and will send something of a care package very soon. I haven't read your blogs yet, but will. Hello to anyone I might know or anyone from Colorado. (that would be random, since I don't know anyone at Ft. Carson) I've sent 8 boxes out to other units. (I hope they do indeed receive them) I'll try to get something to your group as well. I will say a prayer for your group and your family as well. All the best to you and your troops!! I am telling everyone I meet about anysolider and hopefully I can recruit some care-package senders!! From a Frontier Airlines Flight Attendant based in Denver, say hello to everyone for me! (and thank you for keeping our skies safe!) Valerie

I thought it was very interesting. We in the US have limited perspective on world issues. US tv, news, and politicians exaggerate in order to gain audience and we have come to expect that what we hear is exaggerated. When a source outside the US gets air time on tv we assume they also exaggerate and discount their words and conviction as well. Thanks for the culture lesson. I have many additional thoughts but suffice to say your we appreciate the mess in Iraq and hope our leaders can help get it resolved as soon as possible; even if that is a long time. God Bless the Troops and God Bless America!

Gee Christopher your "gest" book doesn't seem to be working. All the McGlynn's and Pattersons send their love and honorable regards and sincere "Thanks" for all you are doing there and sacrificing for the rest of us living quite a bit easier back home and abroad. When somebody asked me if I wanted to study a broad I immediately said yes when I found out no "Broad" was involved in the exercise! I pray you are safe, Cousin Tom Patterson
